The collaboration between Safe Tech and Cubo Unipol continues. For the 30th anniversary of CUBO Unipol – Sharing Culture, Safe Tech crafted a metal frame and mount for a neon sculpture by Stefano Ronci. The frame has been prepared with hollow tubes to hide the neon wires. The deck has been designed with wheels to allow an easy mobility as well as adjustable feet in case of uneven flooring. The structure will travel with the artwork during the events scheduled in various Unipol offices.

Safe Tech produced an inclined table and related frames for the display of photographs for the Graziano Arici’s exhibition “Oltre Venezia Now is the Winter of our Discontent” at the Querini Stampalia Foundation. The table is 630 cm long and has 2 separated inclined shelves covered with acid-free cardboard to avoid any direct contact with the artifacts. Exhibition is on show from 17 December 2022 to 1 May 2023.

For the exhibition “Vincenzo Foppa – The Standard of Orzinuovi” Safe Tech supplied products for exhibiting several artworks and a show case created specifically for the long-term preservation of the Stendardo. This showcase has the particularity of being double faced: a recto-verso solution in order to display both sides of the canvas that are painted. The main structure of the entire vitrine is made of metal, then viewers sides are covered with museum glass. It also contains a Bluetooth datalogger and RH stabilizers for long-term preservation of the Stendardo. Other supplies crafted by Safe Tech artisans for this exhibition are mounts for 3D objects, self-standing walls and a climaframe for the panel painting “I tre crocifissi” by Vincenzo Foppa.

Safe Tech created a climaframe for the very fragile parchment with the fragment of the Islamic text that had to travel to Germany (Museum Mannheim Reiss-Engelhorn), for the exhibition “The Normans”. For the mount of the artifact special magnets have been used. The exhibition will be on display until February 2023.

For the exhibition “Picasso – Julio Gonzales” at the Fundaciòn Mapfre in Madrid (from Sept 2022 to Jan 2023) Pinacoteca di Brera requested Safe Tech to design a climaframe for the painting “Bull’s Head” by Pablo Picasso with a new travel frame. The climaframe has been realized to be adaptable to the original painting’s frame too.

For the SIAE’s 140th anniversary, an exhibition event was held on June 16th at the Foyer of Theatre at Triennale Milano. A self-supporting wall, two display cases with inclined internal decks and internal LED lighting as well as a tall display case with upper protection were crafted by Safe Tech technicians. The exhibition displayed archival materials as well as manuscripts by Carducci, Pirandello, Verdi, etc and photo documentation.

Installation of MDF double walls with site specific hanging system for photographs. The project was conducted for the “Magnum Photos: Colors, Places, Faces” exhibition (June 2022-Jan 2023).

Design and construction of a display case for the bronze bucket Secchia of Galleria Doria Pamphilj in Rome. The showcase is composed of a silestone base and a museum glass cover, with an internal deck containing an RH stabilizer. The case has adjustable LED spotlights and a plinth deck covered in gray velvet.
