For the celebrations of the 500th anniversary of the birth of Ulisse Aldrovandi, CUBO Unipol, in collaboration with the University Library of Bologna (BUB), exhibited one of the oldest and best-known painted herbariums by the scholar. For this project, the Safe Tech division of Arterìa was entrusted with the design and construction of a conservative product for displaying the ancient volume. The created case, in addition to containing the stabilizing material hidden from view, was completed with a plexiglass layer with an angular opening specifically designed for the current conditions and conservation needs of the artifact.

Following the end of the restoration of some ancient volumes belonging to the Law Library of the University of Pavia, Arterìa Safe Tech was commissioned to create a table display case capable of allowing their display in a controlled environment. Thanks to the innovative automated opening system with jacks, it will be possible for the library staff to operate in complete autonomy in the event of internal movements of the exhibition space as in the case of inspections and / or rotation of the volumes to be exhibited.

Study and construction of a large showcase for the display of archaeological finds, tools and technical equipment for viticulture and winemaking owned by the Torgiano Wine Museum of the Lungarotti Foundation. The project saw the team of the Safe Tech division of Arterìa involved in the study and construction of a conservation case complete with internal and LED lighting system, glass display shelves of various shapes and a combined active / passive internal air conditioning system.

Creation of a large conservative case for the vertical display of the wooden sculpture depicting Christ Crucified, belonging to the Diocesan Museum of Sacred Art in Siena, now on display in the Upper Oratory of San Bernardino.

Supply of two climaboxes for the exhibition of two precious panel paintings by Botticelli, belonging to the collection of the Vatican Museums and on display in Paris, at the Musée Jacquemart André for the exhibition “Botticelli. Artist and designer”. The conservative products designed on this occasion differ from the others usually made, due to the particularity of their plexiglass caps, this time worked with rounded edges.

Supply of a climaframe and a climabox intended respectively for the drawing “Head of a girl” and the volume “Code of the flight of birds”, both precious works by Leonardo Da Vinci, coming from the Royal Library of Turin and showed in Russia at the State Museum of the Fine Arts of Ekaterinburg.

Supply of three Climaframes for the three works by Raphael, Titian and Lotto owned by the Accademia Carrara in Bergamo for the exhibition “Masters. From the Renaissance to the nineteenth century” at the Bund One Art Museum in Shanghai.

Supply of two frames with UR control, designed and created for two panel paintings by Paolo Veneziano, belonging to the collection of the Uffizi Galleries in Florence and on loan to the “Paolo Veneziano: Arte and Devotion in 14th-Century Venice” exhibition organized from the Getty Center in Los Angeles. The in-depth study of the constituent characteristics of the works has allowed the design of conservation products suitable not only for the conservation of the tables but also for their transport in total safety.
